Florida Building Code Approval
Secure Door is a Florida Building Code approved product (FL6420). A copy of the approval may be downloaded and printed to provide to inspectors or building department personnel of insurance company representatives by clicking on the link provided below. The supporting test report is also attached (NTCL E330 test report link).
Please note at the bottom of the approval under Limits of Use that the product is approved for Statewide use including the High Velocity Hurricane (HVHZ) area of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. The accompanying memorandum from the Florida Building Commission explains the two approval authorities and that Florida Building Code approved products may be used in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties (Miami NOA Memo link).
