What size do I need? If your garage door opening is 7 feet tall (most standard residential doors built before ~2000), this is your brace. Not sure? Measure from floor to top of the door panel — if it's 84" or under, choose 7ft.

How many braces do I need?
- Single garage door → 1 brace
- Double (two-car) garage door → 2 braces minimum, 3 recommended if you're in a Cat. 4–5 zone
